Bloomily has a built-in messaging system so you can communicate directly with your child's center and teachers.

Sending a Message

  1. Go to Account > Messages
  2. Tap the New Message button
  3. Select which child the message is about
  4. Choose a recipient:
  • Organization-wide — Goes to the front desk or admin team

  1. Add an optional subject line
  2. Type your message and tap Send

Viewing Conversations

Your message inbox shows all conversations in a list:

  • Unread count appears as a badge on unread threads
  • Last message preview helps you find the right conversation
  • Conversations are grouped by child if you have multiple

Tap a conversation to see the full thread. Your messages appear on the right, and the center's responses appear on the left.

Replying

Open a conversation and type your reply in the message box at the bottom. Messages are delivered in real-time, so you'll see responses as they come in.

Notifications

You'll receive a notification when someone from the center replies to you. Check your notification preferences under Account > Settings to control how you're alerted (email, in-app, or SMS).

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I message other parents?

No. The messaging system is for communication between parents and the center's staff. For parent-to-parent communication, check if your center has a community group.

Q: How quickly will I get a response?

Response times depend on your center. Most centers aim to reply within the same business day. For urgent matters (like a pickup change), call the center directly.

Q: Can I attach photos or files?

Message threads support text messages. If you need to share documents, your center may ask you to upload them through the Forms section instead.

Q: I'm not getting message notifications.

Check that notifications are enabled under Account > Settings > Notifications. Also verify your email isn't filtering Bloomily emails to spam.
